Thanksgiving 2011 (Thankfulness Challenge - Day 24)

Happy Thanksgiving!

 

Today I am thankful for:

• two yummy back to back Thanksgiving meals with both sides of the family.
• my mom and dad who graciously offered to wash all the dishes and clean up the kitchen since we prepared the Thanksgiving meal.
• holiday traffic that kept roads clear as we drove back and forth from L.A. to the Valley. How I wish it was like that all the time!
• Uncle Kevin who just a few days ago was in a coma, but is now alert and speaking. Praise God! He even asked for Austin and Bethany. :)
• the conference room we were able to reserve at the hospital so we could celebrate Thanksgiving with Uncle Kevin and the family. It wasn't our typical Thanksgiving gathering, but it was so very special considering the circumstances. 
• the first time in the past seven nights that Bethany went down without screaming bloody murder.
• enough leftovers for us to continue our Thanksgiving feast for a few more days. :)
• good health, full bellies, and a warm and safe place to rest our heads.
