Hm....that most likely explains why I've grown up to become an even bigger fan. Thanks Mom and Dad! :)
With the hope of saving my own daughter from the same cruel fate I suffered (yes, i'm being dramatic), I started collecting HK items for
Now years later, I have quite an assortment of things to pass onto Bethany. Most of them are neatly stored away, but she has already gotten quite familiar with dear old HK.
Here's a close up.
(sorry for the bad quality. it was taken on my iphone.)
Is it mean that I'm totally laughing, and that I love this picture?
And that as she was freaking out, I urged Austin to go ahead and take the shot instead of quickly stepping away to spare her from those seconds of sheer terror?
You be the judge. :)

oh my gosh - I'm so sorry Bethany - but I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING! I can't believe that you captured that photo! I'm sure in a few years you will all be able to laugh back on it, as I'm sure she'll become the biggest fan too :)

Hi Jenny! it's Sakura. I've never read a blog, but Laura sent this to me and it's SOO funny AND CUTE! I love it. I'm SO happy you have a little girl and a great excuse to indulge in HK stuffs. I bought some HK stuff too for the baby before we knew he was a he. : )
I had to come back for another hit! Oh my, still laugh out loud funny. And more so the longer I look at it. Ah, poor Bethany. But this picture is priceless!
Laura said I needed to check out this entry... It's so hilarious (I'm sorry bethany) that it's making me cry every time I look at it! Her expression is priceless. I love HK too, but there is something about HK in costume that's a bit freaky to me too. BTW, Happy Belated birthday, Bethany! - Jane
I also LOVE HK and the fact that I can now buy HK items for our daughter:-) Did you know there is a HK cafe in Korea? I am really going to try to go when we go so if you want me to get anything for you [I mean Bethany;)], let me know.
