Happy New Year! 2011
The first day of 2011 began with my parents coming over and preparing a delicious Korean meal for us with all the usual fixings. After filling our bellies, the kids wore hanboks given to us by Bethany's foster family.
Austin was the first and most eager to take part in the traditional seh-beh while Bethany tried to follow as best she could.
Daddy tried to help Bethany,
but she preferred her own version of seh-beh.
This is what happens after a full belly, playtime and a skipped nap.
In the afternoon, we headed over to the cemetery to pay our respects, and then returned home for some more family time, and yet another feast prepared by my parents for dinner.
2010 was a year of such wonderful blessings for our family and I can't think of a better way to have started the new year than to have spent it with those who mean the most to me.
(Good food and seh-beh money didn't hurt either.) Just saying. :)
May 2011 be filled with many wonderful blessings for you and your loved ones!
