My dad is a man of few words. He is patient, kind, loving and willing to do and sacrifice anything for his family. He spent much of my childhood working tirelessly to provide the day to day necessities for our family and he never once complained about it.
Now as a wife and mother, I am all the more aware and grateful for all the sacrifices he made for our family and he will still do anything for his little girl. :) As great as that is, I have to say that the thing I love the most about my dad is how much he loves and adores both Bethany and Austin. My dad is still a man of very few words, but the glow in his eyes and the smile on his face when he sees his grandchildren says it all. It so warms my heart to see the immense joy my children bring to him!
Happy Father's Day Dad.
I love you so much!
And of course Father's Day would not be complete without wishing my wonderful husband a Happy Father's Day as well.
Sam, thank you for being such a wonderful father to Austin and Bethany! Thank you for the many ways you love, protect and care for our family each day.You have such a tender heart toward our children and I am so thankful that they have you as an example of God's love for them.
Happy Father's Day Sam!
I've always loved images of parents sleeping with their children, so I leave you with a few of my favorites on this very special Father's Day.... :)
15 day old Austin. He was a tiny little thing, a premie weighing only 5lbs, 8oz.
Two year old Austin. I came downstairs to find they had both fallen asleep while watching t.v.
Bethany was still tired after her nap so Sam wanted to cuddle with her. They both ended up falling asleep.
Ditto. :)
